Who We Are
Our website address is: https://excelavista.com. We are a team of Excel content creators based in Thailand, dedicated to providing free Excel tutorials and resources for Thai learners and professionals.
What Personal Data We Collect and Why
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect and prevent spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public next to your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, please avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
Comment Cookies: If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies are for your convenience so you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. They last for one year.
Login Cookies: If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out, the login cookies will be removed.
Article Edit Cookie: If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only stores the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve our content and user experience.
Google Analytics collects the following information anonymously:
- Pages you visit and how long you stay
- How you found our site (referral source, search engine, social media)
- Your approximate location (country/city level)
- Your browser type, device type, and screen resolution
- Your operating system and language preference
This data is collected via cookies and tracking codes. No personally identifiable information (such as your name, email, or exact address) is collected through Google Analytics.

Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same way as if you visited the other website directly.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. This includes tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who We Share Your Data With
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
- Google Analytics receives anonymized usage data (as described above).
- If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
- Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service (Akismet).
- We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Registered Users: For users who register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All registered users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Google Analytics Data: Aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 26 months before being automatically deleted.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can:
- Request access: Ask for an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided.
- Request correction: Ask us to correct any inaccurate personal data.
- Request deletion: Ask us to erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
- Withdraw consent: If we rely on your consent to process data, you can withdraw it at any time.
- Lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Our website is hosted on servers that may be located outside Thailand. By using our site, you consent to the transfer of your data to these servers.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

- สิทธิในการระงับการใช้ (Right to Restrict Processing): คุณมีสิทธิขอให้เราระงับการใช้ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลของคุณในบางกรณี
- สิทธิในการโอนย้าย (Right to Data Portability): คุณมีสิทธิขอรับข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลของคุณในรูปแบบที่สามารถอ่านได้ทั่วไป และขอให้เราส่งข้อมูลดังกล่าวไปยังผู้ควบคุมข้อมูลอื่น
